Funeral services for Leo Maddison Lipps, 55, of Plano, who died Friday in Plano General Hospital were held at 10:30 a.m. today in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Hubert Long officiating. Interment was in Grove Hill Cemetery with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in charge of the services.
Lipps was born Nov. 26, 1931 in Bridgeport, the son of Henry M. Lipps and Ruth E. Thompson, and married Carole Anne Milam, July 2, 1954.
He was a self-employed private investigator and a member of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include his wife, Carole Anne Lipps of Plano; son, Paul Allen Lipps of Plano; two brothers: P. H. Lipps of North Carolina, and Billy B. Lipps of McKinney; two sisters: Nell Mattix of Brownwood and Laverne Hesser of Parker; as well as a number of other relatives.
