C. A. CAIN DIES THURSDAY AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Cletes Andrew Cain, 77, of 403 North Chestnut, died Thursday morning after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at Harris-Horn Chapel at 3 p.m. Friday, Rev. Arthur Renfro and Rev. J. L. Koonce officiating. Interment will be in the Allen Cemetery.
Pallbearers, nephews of the deceased are: Pete Cain, Everett Cain, Lloyd Cain, Clarence Dugger, Jesse Dugger, Fitzhugh Dugger, James Cain and Furman Hefner.
Honorary pallbearers: Ralph and Jesse Bell Keattes.
A native of Tennessee, he was born April 15, 1889, the son of Jim and Ann Beck Cain. He had lived in Collin County for 75 years and in McKinney 20 years. He was married to Fannie Barnum, August 3, 1912, and was a member of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church. He was formerly employed by Southland Ice Company.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Glenn and C. A. Cain, Jr., McKinney; two brothers, Hubert Cain, Allen; Earl Cain, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Dugger and Mrs. Cy Hefner of Allen; six grandchildren; Mrs. Diana McMillan, Marcella and Cherry Cain, G. G. Cain, Andy Cain and Paul Ray Cain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Doris Juanita Cain; two sons, Vernon Marcell and Ray C. Cain and a brother, Ed Cain of McKinney.
