WELL-KNOWN FARMER PASSES AWAY IN CITY

James F. Hill who submitted to an operation a week ago, passed away Sunday night at 8:10 o’clock in the McKinney City Hospital. He had been in frail health for sometime.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the chapel of the Crouch-Moore Funeral Home here conducted by Rev. Cordia Spurgin and A. H. Snider. Burial followed in the Scalf cemetery in the McDonald community southeast of here.
Mr. Hill, who have lived in the McDonald community all of his life, was a son of W. P. and Cynthia Wilmeth Hill. He was born there September 7, 1880, and had followed the occupation of farming.
Surviving are his wife and two sons: Otto Hill of Madill, Okla.; Frank J. Hill of McKinney; four grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Lula Owens, Mrs Ida Purser, Dave Hill all of McKinney; Mrs. Minnie Bonanan of Dallas; Walter Hill and Mrs. Ross Roung of Tonoka, Texas; Leslie Hill of California.
