Jerry M. Wines was the teacher at the Wines School in Plano in 1880. His school was in the south part of Plano on the west side of SH 5 (Ave. K). This school is not mentioned in any Collin County history books except for Plano, Texas: The Early Years. Mr. Wines moved to South America after teaching in Plano.
