Memorial services for Jerome Girard Skrentner, 85, of McKinney, who died Saturday at North Texas Medical Center, will be noon Tuesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in McKinney under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
Mr. Skrentner was born June 23, 1909, in Detroit, Mich., to Joseph and Elizabeth Pfeifer Skrentner. He married Buena Berry on Feb. 13, 1944, in Melissa. He was an assessor for the city of Detroit, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of St., Michael's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Buena of McKinney; two daughters, Pam Skrentner of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Meg Skrentner of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Robert Skrentner of Minneapolis, Minn. and two grandchildren.
