McKinney Woman, 92, Dies in Her Home
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Crouch-Moore Funeral Chapel here for Mrs. Tom Shewmake, 92, who died at 5:50 p.m. Thursday in her McKinney home.
Conducting the services will be Rev. W. T. Carter, retired Baptist minister of McKinney, assisted by Rev. Jess Maloney. Burial will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Shewmake was born Aug. 30, 1870 in Kentucky, daughter of Mr. and Mr. John W. Burge. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are a son, Raymond Shewmake of McKinney; a daughter, Mrs. A. C. Carty of Allen; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
