Roller announces bid to retain JP post
Precinct 4 Justice of he Peace John A. Roller, Jr. of Celina announced Friday that he will seek re-election to the position he has held for 23 years.
Roller, 52, was first elected in 1963 and has served continuously since that time. While in office, he has acquired over 2,000 hours of in-service training in law from Texas A&M, Lamar University and Southwest Texas State University.
A lifetime member of Collin County, Roller is a member of the Democratic Party, a veteran of the Korean war and is a past president of the Collin County Public Officials Association.
