Funeral services for Robert Vance Smith, 62, of Allen, who died Thursday at the H. C. A. Medical Center in Plano, will be at 2:30 p..m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Allen. Burial will be at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
He was born Dec. 6, 1927 in Fannin County, the son of Lewis Melton Smith and Vada Wisdom Smith. He married Mary Frances Mason Feb. 11, 1950 in Dallas.
He was a security guard and a member of the First Baptist Church of Allen.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Steve Smith of Melissa and Frank Smith of Lucas; two daughters, Kathy Eaton and Lisa Collier, both of Allen; two brothers, Rayborn Smith of Corpus Christi and Bill Smith of Bedford; six sisters, Helen Feudo, Mary King, Mae Limrick, and Margarete Feudo, all of Corpus Christi, Dorothy Ray and Sue Schulze, both of Dallas; eight grandchildren, Kristopher Eaton, Amy Eaton, Torin Collier and Ryan Collier, all of Allen and Samantha Smith and John Clinton Smith, both of Melissa, and Dirck Smith and Brea Smith, both of Lucas; a nephew, Gary Feudo of Sherman and a number of other relatives.
