Willie D. Roach
Funeral services for Mr. Willie D. Roach, 67, of Greenville, who died Friday in a Greenville hospital were held at 2 p.m. today at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Hargrave officiating. Interment was in Ridgeview Memorial Park Cemetery with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in charge. He was born Jan. 2, 1918 in Collin County, Texas, the son of William S. and Artie Paulston Roach, and married Miss Jean Coleman, Oct. 29, 1963. Mr. Roach was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Jean Roach of Greenville; two daughters, Pat Corman of Irving and Donna McBride of Lewisville; two sisters, Helen Hall and Artel Raines, both of McKinney; one brother, George Roach of McKinney; one step-son Danny Baker of Alba, Tx.; eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and a number of other relatives. |
Mrs. W. S. Roach Passes Away in Collin Hospital
Mrs. Etta Rene Greer Roach, 74, resident at Merritt Homes died in Collin Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon. She was a native of Tennessee, Born Feb. 7, 1886, the daughter of W. P. and Emma Eliza Connie Oneal, but had lived in and around McKinney for many years. Surviving are her husband, W. S. Roach; four sons, Austin Greer of Dallas; Oscar Greer of Mexia; Coyt Greer of Bonham; Cecil Greer of McKinney; brother B. Oneal of Ft. Worth; two half-brothers Emmett Oneal of McKinney and Grady Oneal of Fort Worth; five half-sisters, Mrs. Jewell Hand, Mrs. John Kerr and Mrs. Bess Spurgin of McKinney; Mrs. Annie Watkins, Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. Trudy Hand of Amarillo and five grandchildren. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday in Crouch-Moore Funeral Home Rev. George Kemp an Mrs. S. D Lindsey, officiating with burial in Pecan Grave Cemetery. |
