Services for Mrs. Vela B. Reynolds, 93, of McKinney, who died Wednesday at University Nursing Center in McKinney, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral chapel with the Revs. J. W. Davis and Reagan Carr officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
She was born Jan. 8, 1899, in Alba, the daughter of Dr. Miles Rutledge and Evelyn Daniels Rutledge. She married Will T. Reynolds on Nov. 11, 197, in Walnut Grove. She was a homemaker and a member of East Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, John W. Reynolds of McKinney; two daughters, Ruby Mullins and Evelyn Davis, both of McKinney; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
