R. C. Roberts of Chambersville Owns improved farm.
The editor recently visited briefly at the country store of R. C. Roberts, located on the Chambersville pike, 7 miles north of McKinney. Mr. Roberts has an excellent stand for a rural store, in the forks of two public roads. In addition to his general stock of merchandise, he sells ice, cold drinks and has a custom mill in a room adjoining his store. He grinds meal and makes chops for his neighbors, putting up his meal in twenty-five pound bags, labeled with his own name and brand. Mr. Robert's store is located only a few hundred feet from his modern new farm home, located on a a choice fifty-two acre tract of land. Mr. Roberts has been a regular subscriber and patron of the Daily Courier- Gazette for several years. He is intelligent, ambitious, industrious and enterprising and deserves a large measure of success.
