Mrs. Eva Pingleton
McKinney - Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Harris-Horn Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Eva C. Pingleton, 7?, who died at 3:15 p.m. at her home in McKinney. Rev. Earl Rogers conducted services. Burial was in Pecan Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Pingleton was born Jan. 8, 1854 in Tennessee. She is survived by three sons, Clifford and Willie Petway of McKinney and Doyle Petway of Garland; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Curtis of Fort Worth; two stepsons; three step-daughters and 10 grandchildren. |
Percy Orville Pingleton
Services for Percy Orville Pingleton, 76, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight. Mr. Pingleton was born Jan. 9, 1919, in McKinney, to Daniel Webster and Vinnie Ola Barnes Pingleton. He married Pauline McPeak July 3, 1952, in McKinney. He was a lifetime resident of McKinney except for military service in the Army during World War II. He received two Bronze stars in the Philippine Liberation, a Purple Heart in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign and was awarded two Bronze Stars in June 1945. He is survived by his wife, Pauline; a brother, Daniel Webster (Dub) Pingleton Jr. of McKinney; two sisters, Pauline Taylor of McKinney and Francis Rogers of Mabank and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. |
