Funeral services for Mrs. Jimmie Lee Smith, 86, of Carthage, former Anna resident who died Wednesday in a Carthage hospital, will be held 10 a.m. Friday in Hawthorne Chapel, Carthage, with Dr. Charles Dodson officiating.
Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday in Highland Cemetery.
A church pianist in Anna for 35 years, she was a member of the National Piano Teachers Guild and taught music in Anna and McKinney. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Carthage, where she had lived for the past four years after moving from San Antonio.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. W. C. Smith of Carthage and Robert L. Smith of San Antonio; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Porter, Mrs. Irene Griffin and Mrs. Jessie Lynn Orman of Rosser; one brother, Jack Lowery of Ennis; five grandchildren; eight Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Jack A. Smith.
