Harmony School was also known as Klondike School. The exact date of opening was not found in references; however, it was listed in Stambaugh’s list of schools from 1905-1918. Other references stated the school closed after 1930. It was located five miles southwest of Farmersville near the north end of CR 551. The school was a one-room school with windows on the north side and housed grades one through seven.
Teachers included D. D. Kemper in 1901 and Mrs. Harris and her son, Jim Harris, in 1902 and 1903. Miss Maud Nowlin was the teacher in 1905.
In February of 1909 the school had 9 male students and 5 females. By April of 1909 there were 12 males and 13 females. The school had 28 students in 1912 and 46 students in 1925.
