Erudia School
Erudia School
Located on land owned by A.P. Rogers northwest of Frisco on County Road 710 Frisco. Erudia was the name of the community that is now names Frisco.
The Erudia School was established in 1897 and was a long, one room, wood frame building with only one door at the west end; windows on the south side; teacher’s desk was at the east end opposite the front door. Six grades were taught and since the community of Erudia sat on the Collin/Denton county line it was part of Collin County School District #148 and Denton County School District #29. The school closed in 1929 when it was consolidated with Frisco ISD.
