Aston Chapel School was located 4 miles southeast of Farmersville. The school and community were named for James W. Aston. The school is not included on a list of Farmersville schools before 1900.
In 1914 J. P. Washburn and K. D. Cullum were trustees of the Aston Chapel School. The teacher that year was Miss Maude Jones on McKinney.
Miss Bona Fagala of Princeton was a teacher at Aston Chapel School in 1916.
Aston Chapel residents voted in 1921 for bonds for a one-room school building.
There were 35 students in attendance in 1925.
In 1939 R. W. Allsbrook was selected to be school trustee.
